June is national dairy month and around here that starts with the Great Wisconsin Cheese Festival. Wisconsin’s official kickoff to summer! Nestled along the Fox River, this 3 day entertainment extravaganza is packed with fun for everyone. There is live music, lots of food, beer, $1 amusement rides, kids entertainment, a walk/run, big cheese parade, free cheese samples, and much more! Throughout the weekend you will hear a variety of bands that are sure to get your feet moving. There are plenty of places around the festival grounds to relax and take in the cheesy atmosphere. Are you getting excited yet? At night the sun may go down but the lights go up in a big way as Cheese Fest turns into Cheesejam! Are you fired up for Cheese Fest now? Well guess what. Cheese Fest isn’t just the most fun way to kick off summer. It’s a party with a mission. We are so happy to be able to do what we do and we know we couldn’t do it without all the support we have gotten through the years. Thanks to your generous support over the last 33 years Cheese Fest has been able to donate OVER ONE MILLION DOLLARS ($1,639,665 to date) back to the community! That is a huge accomplishment and we couldn’t be more proud. So let’s keep the party going! If you’re looking for more information about Cheese Fest or just want to be part of the cheese fun then like us on Facebook (search Great Wisconsin Cheese Festival). You can also scan the QR Code on the schedule of events flyer for easy directions to the festival grounds from anywhere. Are you ready to get your cheese on? We’ll see you at the Great Wisconsin Cheese Festival!
