Yard Waste Disposal
Yard waste includes garden debris, hedge and tree trimmings that are too small to bundle, leaves, grass clippings, and lawn rakings.

Now through October 10, 2007:

WEDNESDAY curbside pickup of bagged yard waste ONLY – requires a $2 yard waste sticker per bag.

Stickers may be purchased at the Municipal Services Building at 1940 Buchanan Street and the Village Hall located at 108 W. Main Street.

Starting September 24, 2007 through December 31, 2007:

Residents may drop off their yard waste (not brush) free of charge at the Municipal Services Building at 1940 Buchanan Street Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Follow signs behind the building for location. Our electronic gates close promptly at 3:30 p.m., and you must be finished unloading your yard waste and outside of the gate by that time.

The leaf vac will also begin operation around September 24, 2007 and continue until
November 14, or until the weather produces snow.

After October 10, 2007:

Place loose leaves and grass clippings in the curb for the leaf vac to pick up. Bagged yard waste will not be picked up curbside after October 10, 2007.
