The Village of Little Chute observes Arbor Day each year by planting a tree in a village park.
The Village Board is presented with a resolution proclaiming Arbor Day be observed on a specific day in the Village of Little Chute. The resolution states that trees in our village increase property values, enhance the economic vitality of business areas, beautify our community, and clean our air. They urge all citizens to support the efforts to plant and protect our trees now and in the future.
The Arbor Day Observance starts with a discussion about Arbor Day, the benefits of trees, how to properly plant and care for trees, and concludes with the planting of a tree. 4th grade elementary school students participate in the observance program each year. *Due to COVID, the school students cannot participant in our observance this year*
FRIDAY, APRIL 30 AT 1:00PM AT DOYLE PARK - park located at corner of Park & Van Buren
