The Fox Valley Metro Police Department offers residents a medication drop box in the department lobby. The box is available to the public during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 8a to 4:30p. 

You may dispose the following items:

• Prescription medications
• Prescription ointments
• Prescription patches
• Vitamins
• Over-the-counter medications
• Medication sampes
• Pet medications 

Items that are not allowed:

• Sharps or needles
• Aerosol containers
• Inhalers
• Liquids
• Thermometers  

NOTE: Please keep your medication in their original containers or in a zip-top plastic bag. Please do not dump loose medication into the medication drop box. Thank you.
